Simulation study on lighting and energy consumption of aerogel glass used in buildings in Northeast China
Ecotect Analysis 2015 and DeST software are used to explore the influence of aerogel glass as envelope structure on daylighting and building energy consumption of buildings in Northeast China. The simulation location is Shenyang, the simulation time is one year, and the simulation model is an ordinary two-story office building. The results show that in terms of optical performance, the visible light illuminance after aerogel glass application can meet the minimum requirements of 495lx in related standard, and the minimum indoor illuminance can also reach 540lx.The direct light illuminance under the ceiling glass is reduced 1419.3lx,effectively avoiding glare. In terms of thermal properties, compared with the traditional insulating glass system with the same thickness, the annual indoor cooling load simulated with aerogel glass is reduced by 10.65 percentage points. It is found that when aerogel glass is used as the building envelope,it can ensure the lighting effect of the building, improve the lighting comfort, and effectively reduce the building energy consumption.
