Influence of fiber and rutting agent on pavement performance of asphalt mixture
In order to explore the influence of fiber and rutting agent on pavement performance of asphalt mixtures,polyester fiber and anti-rutting agent are mixed into asphalt mixtures,and the high and low temperature and water stability of asphalt mixtures is studied through series of macroscopic performance tests.The results show that the high temperature and water stability of asphalt mixtures can be improved by single addition of polyester fiber,single addition of anti-rutting agent and composite addition of both materials.Polyester fiber can effectively improve the flexural and tensile properties of asphalt mixture,but the rutting agent is not conductive to the maximum flexural and tensile strain of asphalt mixtures.The combination of rutting agent and polyester fiber has better improvement effect on asphalt mixtures.
