Impact analysis and recommendations of regional regulations represented by CBAM on the glass and fiberglass industry
China is at the forefront of the global glass and fiberglass market in terms of production capacity and exports.China Building Materials Academy,as a leading comprehensive research institute for building and inorganic non-metallic materials,analyzes the opportunities and challenges presented to China's glass and fiberglass industry by"green trade barriers"such as the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism(CBAM).It is suggested that enterprises should enhance research and development of emission reduction technologies,strengthen the use of digital tools for carbon management,conduct studies on carbon emission factors,and participate in the construction of international policy systems,to build carbon management competitiveness and consolidate brand advantages in the global market.
