Research on low temperature performance of semi flexible pavement based on ratio optimization design
The optimal ratio design of semi flexible pavement is a prerequisite for its good mechanical performance. In this paper, the volume method is used to optimize the ratio design of the base asphalt mixture. Then, using the mechanical properties of the grouting material as the evaluation indicator, the orthogonal experimental method is used to optimize the design of its ratio. In addition, semi flexible road surfaces are prepared using self-developed grouting equipment, and its low-temperature performance is evaluated. The results show that the optimal asphalt to aggregate ratio of the matrix asphalt mixture is 4.3%,with porosity and connected porosity of 25.45 and 23.18,respectively,meeting the requirements for grouting.Using initial flowability,30 minute flowability, bleeding rate,7-day flexural strength, and 7-day compressive strength as evaluation indicators, the optimal water cement ratio and sand cement ratio of the grouting material are obtained as 0.46 and 0.15,respectively.The self-developed grouting equipment can effectively inject grouting materials with a grouting rate that meets the requirements. The mechanical performance test results show that the semi flexible pavement has good low-temperature performance and water stability.
