化学交换饱和转移磁共振成像(CEST MRI)技术作为一种新兴的磁共振成像手段,在选择性射频饱和脉冲下,通过化合物中饱和的可交换质子与周围水质子之间的交换,使水的磁共振信号下降,从而间接测定化合物含量.CEST MRI技术能够实现对生物体内特定生物分子及生理参数(如pH等)的高分辨时空成像.介绍CEST MRI技术的基本原理,探讨其在疾病成像及生物分析中的相关应用,并对CEST MRI技术的发展前景和存在的问题进行总结,同时为解决上述问题提出相关策略.对CEST造影剂的发展和优化,能够更好地推动CEST MRI技术的临床转化.
Research Progress on Diamagnetic CEST MRI
Chemical Exchange Saturation Transfer Magnetic Resonance Imaging(CEST MRI)is an emerging imaging technique that utilizes selective radio frequency saturation pulses.This is achieved through the exchange of saturated protons between the compound of interest and surrounding water protons,resulting in a decrease in the magnetic resonance signal of water,thus indirectly measuring the concentration of specific compounds in biological systems.CEST MRI enables high-resolution spatial and temporal imaging of specific biomolecules and physiological parameters(such as pH)within the body.This paper introduces the basic principles of CEST MRI technology,explores its applications in disease imaging and biological analysis,and summarizes the prospects and outstanding challenges in its development.It also proposes relevant strategies to address these issues.The advancement and optimization of CEST contrast agents will further facilitate the clinical translation of CEST MRI technology.
