To reduce the cost of using diethanol monoisopropanolamine in grinding aids and enhance its grinding effect,a novel grinding aid was prepared by combining diethanol monoisopropanolamine with sodium formate, fly ash,and calcium sulfate. The study analyzed the specific surface area, residue, and particle size distribution of cement powders,as well as the strength of hardened cement pastes.Additionally, the microstructure of the cement was observed using Scanning Electron Microscopy(SEM)to investigate the effect of the composite grinding aid on cement performance. The results showed that when the component ratio of the grinding aid was 13234320(diethanol monoisopropanolamine∶sodium formate∶fly ash∶calcium sulfate),the particle size distribution of the cement was significantly optimized, with more uniform particle sizes, and both early and later strength were improved.Compared with the blank cement without the grinding aid,the 45μm residue decreased by 6%,the specific surface area increased by 40m2/kg,the 0~30μm fraction increased by 5.7%,and the compressive strength at 3 days and 28 days increased by 6.4 MPa and 10.5MPa,respectively.
