Research and immunization practices for patients receiving immunoglobulin preparations:a literature review
Immunoglobulin preparations are commonly used for passive immune therapy.Simultaneous administration of immunoglobulins and vaccines may impact the immune response to vaccines. Therefore,a key for good immunization practices is to determine appropriate intervals between immunoglobulin administration and vaccination. In this article,we review scientific literatures about the impact of immunoglobulins on vaccine responses, relevant guidelines issued by the World Health Organization and several countries, and guidelines and prescribing information(package inserts)for vaccines used in China to provide reference for improving immunization practices in China.
