Epidemiological characteristics of tick-borne encephalitis in Heilongjiang province,2006-2023
Objective To analyze epidemiological characteristics of tick-borne encephalitis(TBE)in Heilongjiang province.Methods We obtained TBE case reports made to the Chinese Disease Control and Prevention Information System during 2006-2023 in Heilongjiang for a descriptive epidemiological analysis.Results A total of 1 362 TBE cases were reported from 2006 to 2023 in Heilongjiang,for an average annual incidence of 2.04 cases per million population;incidences by year ranged from 0.25 per million(8 cases)in 2021 to 4.99 per million(191 cases)in 2011.Among the TBE cases,0-9-,10-19-,20-29-,30-39-,40-49-,50-59-,60-69-,and ≥70-year-olds accounted for 0.44%、2.28%,8.30%,18.14%,29.15%,29.30%,10.35%,and 2.06%,respectively;37.81%were lab-confirmed.Conclusions The incidence of reported TBE decreased from 2006 to 2023 in Heilongjiang,with a highest incidence among 30-59-year-olds.We should strengthen TBE surveillance and improve laboratory-confirming capacity.
