Awareness of and satisfaction with vaccination informing services among guardians of children aged 0-6 years in Tianjin:a cross-sectional survey in 2023
Objective To evaluate the awareness of and satisfaction with vaccination informing services among guardians of children in Tianjin.Methods We selected a convenience sample of guardians of children aged 0-6 years from 48 vaccination clinics in 16 districts of Tianjin for an online questionnaire-based survey in March 2023 and analyzed rates of awareness of and satisfaction with vaccination informing services and their influencing factors.Results Among 1 440 subjects,comprehensive rates of awareness of and satisfaction with vaccination informing services were 80.00%and 97.29%,respectively,and were positively correlated(r=0.40,P<0.01).Multivariate logistic regression analyses showed that the comprehensive rate of awareness was highest among subjects who had high-level education,who read the informed consent form in advance,and who read it seriously on site;the comprehensive satisfaction rate was highest among subjects who read the informed consent form in advance and who read it seriously on site.Conclusions Satisfaction with vaccination informing services was high but the awareness was low among guardians of children in the surveyed area.It is necessary to strengthen the in-advance vaccination informing and standardize vaccination informing services.
