Research progress on the safety and immunogenicity of rabies booster vaccination:a review
Booster vaccination with human rabies vaccine is used for rabies-exposed persons who previously completed primary rabies vaccination.Safety and immunogenicity are of great importance to the development of rabies booster vaccination strategies,however,rabies booster vaccination regimens vary by country.The Center for Drug Evaluation of the National Medical Products Administration suggested evaluating the immunogenicity of rabies booster vaccination in conjunction with long-term immune persistence of primary rabies vaccination.In this article,we review scientific advances in safety and immunogenicity of booster rabies vaccination to provide reference for clinical use of booster vaccination with human rabies vaccine.
