Factors influencing immunization service providers'vaccination decisions for children with medical conditions:a discussion based on the theory of planned behavior
Children with medical conditions usually have lower vaccination coverage levels than healthy children, and often delay or miss vaccination. This phenomenon is not only related to children's illnesses or medical conditions, but also is influenced by vaccination providers'considerations of many factors for deciding whether to vaccinate. The theory of planned behavior is a relatively mature social cognitive theory that has a good ability to explain and predict behavior.Based on this theoretical framework,we explore factors influencing vaccination providers'behavioral decision to vaccinate children with medical conditions from three dimensions:behavioral attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control, aiming to provide reference for vaccination of children with medical conditions.
