Dialysis patients have an increased risk of infectious diseases.Appropriate vaccination is critical for dialysis patients to obtain protection against vaccine preventable infectious diseases.However,dialysis patients have low immune responses to vaccines and dialysis may deplete serum antibodies,leading to rapid declines in antibody levels compared with healthy individuals.Vaccine types and immunization schedules for dialysis patients may differ from healthy individuals.In this article,we summarize advances in domestic and international clinical research of vaccination of dialysis patients to provide reference for vaccination practices in China.
