Effects of the dyadic coping nursing intervention for treating patients with ovarian cancer after operation on their self-man-agement ability and post-traumatic growth
Objective:To explore the application effect of the dyadic coping nursing intervention for treating patients with ovarian cancer(OC)after operation.Methods:A total of 102 patients after OC operation in hospital were selected and were randomly divided into two groups(51 cases in each group)from May 2020 to May 2023.The patients in the two groups were given routine nursing intervention for 3 months,and the patients in the study group were given the dyadic coping nursing intervention additionally.The self-management ability,the post-traumatic growth,the rehabili-tation process,the quality of life of the patients and their spouses,and the complications rate of the patients were com-pared between the two groups.Results:After intervention,the scores of the different dimension of the self-manage-ment ability measurement scale and the post-traumatic growth inventory of the patients in the study group were signifi-cantly higher than those of the patients in the control group.The scores of the comprehensive quality of life assessment questionnaire(71.82±9.81 points)and the quality of life questionnaire for caregivers and patient(251.88±18.65 points)of the patients in the study group were significantly higher than those(62.64±8.03 points and 208.64±19.53 points)of the patients in the control group.The rehabilitation process of the patients in the study group was signifi-cantly faster than that of the patients in the control group.The incidence of the complications(3.9%)of the patients in the study group during the intervention was significantly lower than that(15.7%)of the patients in the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion:The intervention of dyadic coping nursing model for the patients after OC operation can im-prove their self-management ability and post-traumatic growth level,which is conducive to reducing their complications occurrence,promoting their disease rehabilitation and improving the quality of life of both husband and wife.
