Correlation between the microrna ribonucleic acid 210 and microribonucleic acid 486 levels in the ectopic endometrial tissue of patients with endometriosis and their pregnancy after surgery
Objective:To investigate the correlation between the levels of the microribonucleic acid 210(miR-210)and miR-486 in the ectopic endometrial tissue of patients with endometriosis(EMS)and their pregnancy after surgery.Methods:The clinical data of 100 patients with EMS who had undergone laparoscopic surgery from February 2020 to February 2022 were selected in this study.According to the pregnancy status,these patients were divided into group A(62 cases with pregnancy)and group B(38 cases without pregnancy).Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)was applied to detect the miR-210 and miR-486 levels in the ectopic endometrial tissue.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was applied to analyze the predictive value of the miR-210 and miR-486 levels in the ectopic endometrial tissue of the patients with EMS for their pregnancy outcomes.Spearman correlation was applied to analyze the correlation between the levels of miR-210 and miR-486 levels in the ectopic endometrial tissue of the patients with EMS and their endometriosis fertility index(EFI)score.Results:The levels of miR-210(1.24±0.18)and miR-486(1.21±0.17)in the ectopic endometrial tissue of the patients in group B were significantly higher than those(1.01± 0.11 and 1.02±0.12)of the patients in group A.The levels of miR-210 and miR-486 in the ectopic endometrial tissues of the patients with stage Ⅳ of EMS were significantly higher than those of the patients with stage Ⅰ and Ⅱ of EMS(all P<0.05).The area under the curve(0.955)of the combined detection of miR-210 and miR-486 levels of the pa-tients with EMS after surgery for predicting their postoperative pregnancy was 0.955,which was significantly higher than that of the miR-210 level or the miR-486 level alone(P<0.05).Spearman analysis showed that the miR-210 level and the miR-486 level in the ectopic endometrial tissue of the patients with EMS were negatively correlated with their EFI score(r=-0.541,-0.429,all P<0.05).Conclusion:The expressions of miR-210 and miR-486 in the ectopic endometrial tissue of the patients with EMS are high,and which are related to the pregnancy of the patients after surgery.
