Effect of the application of the colposcopy and loop electrosurgical excision procedure for diagnosing and treating the pre-cancerous cervical lesions
Objective:To observe the effect of the application of the colposcopy and loop electrosurgical excision proce-dure(LEEP)for diagnosing and treating the precancerous cervical lesions of patients.Methods:The clinical data of 120 patients with the precancerous cervical lesions diagnosed in the first visit to hospital between October 2016 and June 2021A were analyzed retrospectively.The abnormal results of thinprep cytology test(TCT),human papilloma-virus(HPV)examination and cervical tissue biopsy under colposcopy of the patients were used to screening their pre-cancerous cervical lesions,and the patients were definite diagnosis of precancerous cervical lesions by pathology after LEEP surgery.The coincidence situation between the detection results of the precancerous cervical lesions of the pa-tients by colposcopic cervical tissue biopsy and their postoperative pathology of LEEP were analyzed statistically.The complications during LEEP and within 2 weeks after LEEP,and the prognosis within 3 months after LEEP of the pa-tients were counted.Results:In the patients with precancerous cervical lesions according to the pathologic results after LEEP surgery,there were 62(51.7％)cases with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)Ⅰ,36(30.0％)cases with CIN Ⅱ and 22(18.3％)cases with CIN Ⅲ.The coincidence rate between the colposcopy biopsy of the patients and their pathologic results after LEEP surgery was 75.0％.The duration of LEEP surgery of the patients was 12.60±1.61 min,the intraoperative blood loss was 21.00±3.07ml,and the hospital stay of the patients was 3.66±1.05 days.The incidence of complications of the patients within 2 weeks after LEEP surgery was 29.2％.The negative conversion rate of the precancerous cervical lesions of the patients within 3 months after LEEP surgery was 94.2％.Conclusion:In the diagnosis and treatment of the patients with precancerous cervical lesions,the combined application of colposcopy and LEEP surgery for the patients has good effect and high safety,and which can cure the patients with precancerous cervi-cal lesions.
