Objective:To explore the home self-care information needs of pregnant women with hyperglycemia who re-quire insulin injections,and to develop the more scientific and effective discharge intervention plan.Methods:The qualitative research method was conducted in this study.The semi-structured in-depth interviews were used to collect the data of 16 pregnant women with hyperglycemia during the treatment of insulin injection,and the interview content was analyzed by Colaizzi's 7-step analysis method.Results:4 themes were extracted according to the interview results,which included the needs of improving the self-management ability of the insulin injection,the needs of information management,the needs of psychological support and the needs of multi-directional support.Conclusion:The pregnant women with gestational hyperglycemia who require insulin injections should be given the disease-related knowledge and the comprehensive support,should be improved their self-management ability,should be paid attention to their psycho-logical needs and provide the psychological counseling.
