Clinical effect of Baofukang suppository combined with loop electrosurgical excision procedure for treating patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and human papillomavirus infection
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Baofukang suppository combined with loop electrosurgical exci-sion procedure(LEEP)for treating patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)and human papillomavirus(HPV)infection.Methods:245 patients with CIN and HPV infection were selected and were divided into observation group(n=123)and control group(n=122)by random number table method from January 2019 to June 2023.The pa-tients in the observation group were treated with Baofukang suppository combined with LEEP,and the patients in the control group were treated with LEEP alone.The changes of the related clinical symptoms,the clinical effect and HPV negative conversion status after 6 months of treatment,and the immune function level before and after treatment of the patients were compared between the two groups.Results:After treatment,the vaginal bleeding volume(8.5±2.1 ml)and the discharge volume(10.4±3.4 ml)of the patients in the observation group were significantly lower than those(14.5±3.1 ml and 16.4±3.4 ml)of the patients in the control group.The time of vaginal bleeding(6.3±2.1d),the discharge time(7.3±2.2d)and the cervical wound healing time(4.3±1.2 weeks)of the patients in the observation group were significantly shorter than those(8.3±2.1d,9.8±2.6d and 5.4±1.3 weeks)of the patients in the control group.The incidence of the pelvic pain(1.7％)of the patients in the observation group was significantly lower than that(15.4％)of the patients in the control group.The total cure rate of CIN(98.3％)and the total negative conversion rate of HPV infection(83.9％)of the patients in the observation group after 6 months of treatment were significantly higher than those(87.2％and 65.0％)of the patients in the control group.After treatment,the levels of the immune function indexes,such as CD4+,CD3+and CD4+/CD8+of the patients in the two groups had increased significantly,the levels of CD8+,CD4+,CD25+and CD127 of the patients in the two groups had decreased significantly,and the changes of which of the patients in the observation group were significantly more than those of the patients in the con-trol group(all P＜0.05).Conclusion:Baofukang suppository combined with LEEP for treating the patients with CIN and HPV infection can effectively enhance the therapeutic effect,can increase the HPV negative conversion rate and the CIN cure probability,and can disappear the related clinical symptoms disappeared and promote the immune function of the patients.
