Impact of the muscle relaxation training for patients with ectopic pregnancies on their postoperative comfort index
Objective:To explore the application effect of the muscle relaxation training for patients with ectopic preg-nancies on their postoperative comfort index. Methods:In this prospective study,142 patients who had undergone lap-aroscopic ectopic pregnancy surgery in the hospital were included and were divided into two groups(71 cases in each group)by random number table from March 2020 to July 2022.The patients in the control group were given standard postoperative care for 14 days, and the patients in the study group were given muscle relaxation training combined with standard postoperative care. The scores of Kolcaba comfort questionnaire(GCQ),Connor-Davidson resilience scale(CD-RISC)and general self-efficacy scale(GSES)of the patients were compared between the two groups. The levels of follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),β-human chorionic gonadotropin(β-HCG)and estradiol(E2)of the patients in the two groups were detected. The incidence of complications of the patients in the two groups was counted. Results:The scores of psychology(24.27±3.14 points),physiology(19.67±1.63 points),social culture(22.97±2.86 points)and environment(22.79±2.38 points)of GCQ of the patients in the study group after intervention were significantly higher than those(21.63±2.67 points,17.82±1.47 points,20.42±2.17 points and 19.67±1.76 points)of the patients in the control group. The CD-RISC and GSES scores of the patients in the two groups after intervention had increased significantly, and which(73.96±6.83 points and 27.85±3.27 points)of the patients in the study group were signifi-cantly higher than those(67.14±6.53 points and 26.14±3.18 points)of the patients in the control group. The levels of the serum FSH,β-HCG and E2 of the patients in the two groups after intervention had improved significantly. The lev-els of FSH,β-HCG and E2 of the patients in the study group in 7 days and in 14 days after intervention were signifi-cantly lower than those of the patients in the control group. The incidence of the incision infection, abdominal pain,va-ginal bleeding and other complications(4.2%)of the patients in the study group was significantly lower than that(14.1%)of the patients in the control group(all P<0.05).Conclusion:Muscle relaxation training for the patients with ectopic pregnancy surgery can effectively enhance their postoperative comfort, can improve their sex hormone lev-els and psychological status, and can reduce their incidence of postoperative complications.
