Value of ultrasound combined with anti-Müllerian hormone level of infertile patients with polycystic ovary syndrome for e-valuating their ovarian reserve function
Objective:To explore the value of color Doppler ultrasonography combined with anti-Müllerian hormone(AMH)level of infertile patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)for evaluating their ovarian reserve function.Methods:82 infertile patients with PCOS who were treated in the hospital from January 2021 to March 2024 were se-lected as the research subjects retrospectively. These patients were divided into group A(patients with normal ovarian reserve function)and group B(patients with abnormal ovarian reserve function). The patients in both groups had un-dergone vaginal ultrasound examination to observe their ovarian volume(OV)and the antral follicle count(AFC).Chemiluminescence method was used to detect the serum AMH and estrogen(E2)levels of the patients.Receiver oper-ating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the values of the ultrasound indicators and the serum indicators levels of the patients for evaluating their ovarian reserve function.Multi-factor logistic regression was used to analyze the factors influencing the ovarian reserve function of the patients.Results:43(52.4%)patients were included in group B,and 39 patients were included in group A.The age,the body mass index(BMI),the number of abortions and the history of pelvic surgery of the patients in group A were significantly less than those of the patients in group B,and the exercise frequency of the patients in group A was significantly higher than that of the patients in group B(all P<0.05).The OV,and the levels of AFC and AMH of the patients in group A were significantly higher than those of the patients in group B(all P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the E2 level of the patients between the two groups(P>0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that the combined detections of the OV and the levels of AFC and AMH of the infertile patients with PCOS for evaluating their abnormal ovarian reserve function could improve the effi-cacy,with the area under the curve of 0.877 and the sensitivity of 97.4%.Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the advanced age,the higher BMI,the more abortion times and the pelvic surgery history of the infertile patients with PCOS were the factors influencing their abnormal ovarian reserve function, and the exercise frequency ≥2 times/week of the infertile patients was a protective factor of their abnormal ovarian reserve function(all P<0.05).Conclusion:Ultrasound examination combined with the serum AMH level of the infertile patients with PCOS for eval-uating their ovarian reserve function has better value. The advanced age,the higher BMI,the more abortion times and the pelvic surgery history of the infertile patients with PCOS can influence their ovarian reserve function.
