Objective To understand the usage of household health items and its influencing factors among fami-lies of childbearing age in China, and to provide data support for the implementation of special campaign of"rational diet"in Healthy China Initiative. Methods A total of 60 000 women at childbearing age were selected with the method of Proba-bility Proportionate to Size Sampling. The self-designed questionnaires related to the usage of household health items in the National Population and Family Dynamic Surveillance Survey in 2019 were used for face-to-face interviews to obtain data.A-nalysis of variance and OLS regression model were applied to analyze the usage of household health items and its influencing factors. Results The average score for the usage of household health items in families of childbearing age in 2019 was(5.04±2.83).The group aged 30 to less than 35 years old had the highest score, with an average score of(5.24± 2.77).The score increased with the education level of women of childbearing age and the household income. The average score of families with children under 3 years old was(5.18±2.71).The eastern region had the highest score, with an av-erage score of(5.40±2.75).The first category cities had the highest average score of(5.70±2.79).The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the main factors associated with the usage score of household health items in-cluded age(β=0.01),years of education(β=0.14),the annual household income from 30 000 to less than 50 000 yuan(β=0.25),the annual household income from 50 000 to less than 80 000 yuan(β=0.36),the annual household income from 80 000 to less than 120 000 yuan(β=0.51),the annual household income above 120 000 yuan(β=0.35),urban(β=0.31),Eastern region(β=0.56),Central region(β=0.34),and Northeast region(β=0.13)(P<0.001).Conclusion The usage of household health items is relatively low,and targeted measures should be taken to people with low-income and low education, and those in less developed areas.
