Study on the influence of family and living environment on adolescents'psychological sub-health
Objective To explore the influence of family and living environmental factors on adolescents'psycho-logical sub-health,and to provide reference for adolescents'psychological sub-health interventions.Methods A psycholog-ical sub-health survey was conducted among 667 children and adolescents in a district of Chongqing City from May and June 2021.x2 test and binary logistic regression were used to analyze the effects of family and living environmental factors on ado-lescents'psychological sub-health and its dimensions.Results The detection rate of psychological sub-health was 10.9%.The detection rates of emotional problems dimension,conduct problems dimension and social adjustment difficulties dimen-sion were 15.3%,23.2%and 8.2%,respectively.Binary logistic regression analysis showed that there were more females than males among adolescents with psychological sub-health status,emotional problems dimension and conduct problems di-mension,and the OR values were 1.792(95%CI:1.037-3.095),2.175(95%CI:1.331-3.554)and 2.013(95%CI:1.297-3.125)respectively.Adolescents self-perceived bad parental relationship had higher detection rates of psychological sub-health,emotional problems dimension,conduct problems dimension and social adjustment difficulties di-mension than the good ones,and the OR values were 4.706(95%CI:1.594-13.890),3.642(95%CI:1.341-9.892),3.436(95%CI:1.353-8.728),4.103(95%CI:1.354-12.437),respectively.Adolescents self-per-ceived bad/poor family economic conditions had higher conduct problems dimension detection rate than those who had good self-perceived family economic conditions,and the OR value was 2.923(95%CI:1.111-7.692).The psychological sub-health and emotional problems detection rates of adolescents whose mothers worked in local area were lower than those mothers working far away from home,and the OR values were 0.252(95%CI:0.081-0.779)and 0.305(95%CI:0.101-0.921).Conclusion Gender,self-perceived parental relationship,self-perceived family economic conditions and whether mother working far away from home are important factors associated with adolescents'psychological sub-health and its dimensions.Therefore,a harmonious family environment is very important for adolescents'psychological health.
