Establishment of core competency evaluation scale for myopia prevention and control in school doctors and health care teachers
Objective To construct the core competency evaluation scale for myopia prevention and control in school doctors and health care teachers in primary and secondary schools,and to provide a tool for evaluation.Methods Through lit-erature analysis and semi-structured interview,the evaluation framework and index items of core competence of myopia preven-tion and control in school doctors and health care teachers were extracted.Fourteen experts were invited to determine the con-tents and corresponding weights of indicators at all levels through Delphi consultation and Analytic Hierarchy Process,and fi-nally construct the core competency evaluation scale.Results After two rounds of Delphi,four first-level indicators,eight second-level indicators and 28 third-level indicators were determined.In order of weight,the first indexes were vision health service ability(0.296),personal professional quality(0.278),professional knowledge and skills of myopia prevention and control(0.233),and organizational management ability(0.193).Also,experts'positive coefficient,level of authority and coordination of opinions were confirmed.Conclusion The core competency evaluation scale for myopia prevention and control in primary and secondary school doctors and health care teachers was constructed by Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process,which was scientific and reliable and laid a foundation for further popularization of the scale.
