Construction of health literacy assessment system for junior middle school students in China
Objective To construct a health literacy assessment system for junior high school students in China,and to provide reference for the development of specific indicators and tools for subsequent adolescent health literacy assess-ment,as well as the practice of health promotion.Methods The evaluation framework was formulated through literature re-search and expert,and the framework system was revised and improved and weighted through two rounds of Delphi method expert consultation.Results The authority coefficients of the two rounds of consulting experts were 0.88 and 0.95,respec-tively,and the degree of centralization,consistency and coordination were improved,and the expert opinions were credible.Finally,a comprehensive evaluation index system of health literacy for junior high school students in China was constructed,including 7 first-level indicators,20 second-level content indicators,and 4 literacy ability dimensions knowl-edge,behavior,skills and motivation under each level.Physical activity and mental health have higher weights in the first-level indicators,both of which are 0.147.Among the second-level indicators,the weight of food hygiene and accidental injury prevention is the highest,which are 0.074 and 0.072 respectively.Conclusion The framework of the comprehen-sive health literacy evaluation system for junior high school students,can lay the foundation for the design and development of specific three-level indicators and access items.
