Application of 321 health education method based on trans-theoretical model in the treatment of maintenance hemodialysis patients
Objective To evaluate the application of321 health education method based on trans-theoretical model in the treatment of maintenance hemodialysis patients,and to provide basis for improving patients'nutritional status,self-man-agement ability and establishing good health literacy.Methods By simple random sampling method,a total of 204 patients who had maintenance hemodialysis and admitted to the General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from January 2022 to January 2023 were selected as research objects,and they were randomly divided into control group(102 cases)and interven-tion group(102 cases).The control group received routine health education,while the intervention group received 321 health education method based on trans-theoretical model,all of them were intervened for 6 months.t test and x2test were used to an-alyze the difference of health literacy,self-management,nutritional status and the incidence of complications in two groups be-fore and after intervention.Results After 6-month intervention,the total scores of information acquisition ability,communi-cation and interaction ability,willingness to improve health,willingness to provide economic support,and health literacy in the intervention group were(28.33±1.04)points,(26.37±1.35)points,(27.05±1.05)points,(26.74±1.57)points,and(108.49±8.55)points,respectively,which were higher than those in the control group(25.48±3.07)points,(24.94±3.65)points,(23.97±3.42)points,(24.34±2.86)points,and(98.73±7.03)points.The total scores of partnership,problem-solving,self-care,emotional processing,and self-management in the intervention group were(18.03±0.65)points,(17.24±1.28)points,(16.97±1.18)points,(16.04±1.85)points,and(68.28±5.99)points,respectively,which were higher than those in the control group(16.55±1.49)points,(15.12±1.06)points,(14.35±1.15)points,(13.62±1.26)points,and(59.64±4.82)points.The levels of serum total protein,prealbu-min,hemoglobin,and albumin in the intervention group were(69.17±4.15)g/L,(345.94±20.13)mg/L,(114.76±12.05)g/L,and(44.05±3.11)g/L,respectively,which were higher than those in the control group(64.74±3.92)g/L,(332.06±17.45)mg/L,(106.34±11.42)g/L,and(39.58±2.66)g/L.During the study period,the incidence of complications in the intervention group was 13.73%,which was lower than that in the control group(32.35%).The above differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of 321 health education method based on trans-theoretical model in maintenance hemodialysis patients can effectively improve their nutritional status,self-management ability,help them establish good health literacy,and reduce the incidence of complications.
