With the rapid development of the construction industry,construction projects have become increasingly complex.Using traditional manual calculations and two-dimensional software for engineering cost accounting has become difficult to match the dynamic cost control needs of project construction.This article focuses on the actual cost control scenarios of construction,and explores the application of BIM technology in construction process budgeting and cost control supported by software such as BIM modeling,quantity calculation,and BIM5D.At the same time,taking the Xiamen New North Station project as an example,it introduces the practice of using BIM technology to achieve rapid statistics of construction process engineering quantity data,output value summary,and cost control,Provide reference for BIM cost control of other construction projects in China.
