A Multidisciplinary Collaborative Design Approach for CIM-Based Retrofitting of Older Neighborhoods
Old neighborhood renovation design is a systematic and complex task, involving planning, architecture, landscape, municipal, transportation and other professional knowledge and technology, requiring multi-disciplinary teamwork. The traditional linear design method is relatively independent among various professions, insufficient communication and low efficiency, which often results in conflict of multi-disciplinary design results, poor information exchange, repeated adjustments of the program, and difficulties in construction, thus restricting the efficient development of the renovation of old neighborhoods. This paper tries to build a CIM-based multidisciplinary collaborative design method for the transformation of old neighborhoods, summarizes the problems existing in the collaborative design of the transformation of old neighborhoods through in-depth interviews with industry practitioners, and explores the construction of a CIM-based collaborative design platform from the four aspects of a full-element high-precision CIM basic data platform,a multidisciplinary collaborative design platform,a multidisciplinary three-dimensional visualization of the results, and an intelligent auxiliary design, with the aim of promoting The development and innovation of the collaborative design working mode of old neighborhood renovation.
