The emergence of BIM(Building Information Modeling)technology has changed the traditional management of the entire lifecycle of engineering projects.The continuous development of BIM has seamlessly integrated into the entire lifecycle management of engineering projects,promoting diversified and intelligent development in project management.The application of BIM technology in the operational and maintenance phase of engineering projects is currently limited.However,this research aims to address this gap by investigating the application of BIM across various stages of the entire lifecycle management of a university apartment building project.Specifically,the research examines BIM's role in the decision-making,design,construction,and operational phases.By seamlessly integrating BIM into project management throughout its lifecycle,the research effectively tackles challenges encountered at different stages of engineering project management.
