A Case Study on the Application Value of BIM in the Design Phase of Island Hotel Projects
In recent years, with the continuous improvement of China's construction capacity and the vigorous development of the tourism industry,a wave of cultural and tourism project development has gradually formed.Among them, cultural and tourism projects developed based on the characteristics of the natural environment account for a large proportion.Cultural and tourism projects developed based on the characteristics of the natural environment generally face complex and ever-changing engineering risks such as undulating terrain and island land restrictions. At the same time, the development requirements of combining architecture with the natural environment also put forward higher requirements for project construction. In order to better serve the construction of cultural and tourism projects and solve various problems in the design stage during the construction process, this article takes a hotel project built on an island as an example to sort out the requirements and difficulties of this type of project, explore the collaborative application of BIM in various professions during the design stage, and have certain theoretical and practical significance for promoting the application of BIM technology in special scenarios such as island hotels.
