Based on the review of benchmark city evaluation systems for smart city construction at home and abroad,this article designs a smart city evaluation index system that is in line with the actual situation of the Bay Area,including 6 primary indicators,20 secondary indicators,and 72 tertiary indicators.Guangzhou has used this system to carry out smart city evaluation practice and achieved significant results,which can provide reference for building a world-class smart bay area.
