Digital Twin Industry Application Analysis and Development Prospects
As a key innovation in the Industry 4.0 era,by creating high-precision virtual copies of physical entities,it enables real-time monitoring of the entity's state and performance optimisation,providing new digital solutions for various industries.The article introduces the basic concept of digital twin,reviews the progress of its application in three major fields,namely,vehicle engineering field,smart city,and construction engineering,analyses the challenges faced during the development of digital twin,and puts forward the outlook for the development of digital twin in combination with the demand for high-quality development in the new stage.
