Taking the construction and management of a large public building structure as an example,this paper discusses the application of BIM technology in this project.Firstly,the basic concept and advantages of BIM technology are introduced,and then the specific application of BIM technology in this project is analyzed,including the establishment of 3D design model in the early stage of construction,dynamic tracking and management of model during construction,and digital operation and maintenance management after completion.Through specific data analysis,the remarkable effects of BIM technology in improving design efficiency,optimizing construction process and reducing engineering cost are demonstrated.Finally,some suggestions are put forward to further develop the application of BIM technology in the field of large public buildings.This paper is technical and practical,and provides a useful reference for similar projects.
