The accelerated urbanization process has led to many complex problems in modern cities, and urban governance urgently needs to leverage digital means to achieve scientific, refined, and intelligent management. As a core capability of the digital twin city, simulation and analysis can simulate, predict, and extrapolate the operational status of the city based on virtual models, providing support for scientific decision-making.However,the large scale, diverse types, complex models, and visualization difficulties of urban multi-dimensional data pose new challenges for simulation and analysis. To address these challenges, this paper proposes an overall design for multi-dimensional simulation and analysis oriented towards urban governance. It designs a simulation and analysis platform framework consisting of subsystems such as modeling, simulation engine, visualization, interactive control, analysis and evaluation, and integrated interoperability. It then focuses on discussing key technologies such as multi-dimensional modeling of urban systems, collaborative simulation of cross-scale models, visualization and interactive analysis oriented towards simulation, and strategy generation based on intelligent optimization. Finally,it introduces the architectural design and workflow of a urban multi-dimensional data simulation and analysis platform,as well as application cases in urban stormwater management. This simulation and analysis system can achieve efficient acquisition of urban multi-dimensional data, model construction, simulation operation, result analysis, and strategy optimization, helping to transform urban governance from qualitative to quantitative and scientific, and improve the modernization level of urban governance.
