Analysis of Friction Torque of Sensitive Ball Bearing under Low Speed
The starting friction torque and dynamics friction torque of a sensitive hall hearing under low-speed are much more important factors for the attitude control of navigation system. Generally, its operating condition is under the low-speed and thin oil lubrication, so the viscous friction was u-sually neglected and the friction torque caused by main influencing factors of elastic hysteresis in roll-ing, spin of rolling element and sliding friction on contact zone were considered. Based on the models of imitating statics, the location of pure rolling lines on the contact ellipse was calculated to estimate the friction torque of sensitive ball bearing. By comparison of theoretical results with both of the other theory analysis and test study, the feasibility of this model was qualified and structure parameters, such as the cofficients of inner and outer race curvature were discussed, which have influences on the friction torque.
