Mode Transition and Gear Shifting Control Strategy for Parallel Hybrid Commercial Vehicles Based on Optimal Drive System Efficiency
To enhance the fuel economy of parallel hybrid commercial vehicles equipped with auto-matic transmissions and optimize the efficiency of the drive system,a new method for dividing driving mode boundaries and gear boundaries was proposed.A control strategy for mode switching and gear shifting was developed based on optimal efficiency and simulated under the driving conditions of Chi-nese heavy commercial vehicles.The results demonstrate that the proposed strategy maintains the bal-ance of the battery state of charge,and achieves a 11.2%reduction in fuel consumption per 100 kilo-meters compared to the electric assist control strategy,which improves the fuel economy.
