Analysis of Baseline Viral Load and Lymphocyte Subsets of 256 AIDS Patients in Suqian City
The baseline viral load and lymphocyte subsets of 256 Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome(AIDS)patients in Suqian City from January 2019 to October 2023 were retrospectively analyzed to provide a theoretical basis for scientific prevention and control of AIDS.The clinical data and laboratory results of 256 AIDS patients were collected. The characteristics of baseline viral load and lymphocyte subsets were summarized, and the correlation analysis was carried out.The results showed that HIV-RNA levels were different in gender(P<0.05),and baseline CD4+ cell count and CD4+/CD8+ ratio were significantly different in age and time from diagnosis to Antiretroviral Therapy(ART)(P<0.05).Viral load was negatively correlated with CD4+ count and CD4+/CD8+ ratio(P<0.05),and positively correlated with CD4+ count and CD4+/CD8+ ratio(P<0.05).The results showed that there were a large number of HIV patients with high viral load in Suqian City, mainly young adults under the age of 50.High viral load may be an important factor for low CD4+ count and CD4+/CD8+ ratio. The proportion of the testing population should be further increased, and early detection and early treatment should be carried out to improve the antiviral efficacy and prognosis of AIDS patients.
