Determination of Nitrite Nitrogen in Source Water by Online Flow Injection Analysis
This paper intends to establish a method for the determination of nitrite nitrogen content in source water using flow injection on-line analysis. In the experiment, nitrite in the sample underwent diazo reaction with sulfamide through N-(1-naphthyl)-ethylenediamine hydrochloride to produce a purple-red compound soluble in water. The detection at a wavelength of 520 nm revealed that the nitrite nitrogen content in the source water was proportional to absorbance. The linear relationship of nitrite nitrogen in source water was good within the range of 0.000-10.0 mg/L,with the correlation coefficient greater than 0.999.The detection limit was 0.005 mg/L,and the determination limit was 0.010 mg/L,with a standard recovery rate of 90.0%-103%and a relative standard deviation of 1.21%-7.61%.The method is easy to operate, exhibits good repeatability and accuracy, and meets relevant requirements for source water detection.
