Research Progress of Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer Industry
Due to the significantly superior light stabilization effect of hindered amine light stabilizers(HALS)on polymers compared to ultraviolet absorbers and quenching agents,HALS have become the predominant light stabilizer products in China.Over the past several years,research related to HALS has been the most active among publications on light stabilizers.This paper reviews recent advancements in the application,current testing status,and product development of HALS in China.It also offers suggestions for future development.The aim is to provide industry development insights to manufacturers and users of light stabilizers,offer methodological references to proffessionals engaged in related inspections,and provide technical support to regulatory authorities,enabling them to dynamically adjust their supervisory strategies for a more targeted approach.
