The Weight Ranking of Safety Impact Factors for Household Appliances Based on the Borda Count Method
Due to its simplicity and ease of operation, the risk matrix method is extensively employed in the weight rating of safety impact factors for household appliances. However, the conventional risk matrix approach lacks precision, frequently leading to the presence of multiple safety impact factors at identical weight levels, termed"risk tie",which can impede effective risk decision-making.This study utilizes the Borda count method to rank 24 safety impact factors of a specific home appliance, thereby clarifying the weight hierarchy among factors within each level. This approach can offer a foundation for the development of more accurate and efficient risk management strategies.
