Research on the Fiber Quantitative Analysis of Mixtures of Polyester and Polyethylene
The quantitative method standard for polyester fiber and polyethylene fiber blended products is FZ/T01162-2022,which uses paraffin oil/chloroform as the dissolving reagent, the dissolution temperature needs to be above 400℃,and the test requirements are high. The operation is relatively complicated, and there are high requirements for the experimental environment and waste liquid recovery. In order to better quantitatively analyze polyester fibers and polyethylene fibers, this article uses non-standard methods such as sodium hydroxide method and standard method for accuracy verification and repeatability testing. This study used a 40%sodium hydroxide solution as a dissolution reagent for quantitative analysis of polyester fiber and polyethylene fiber blended products. The polyester fibers were dissolved and removed from the mixture with known dry mass by shaking in a 90℃water bath for 30 minutes. The experimental results show that the use of sodium hydroxide method can reduce environmental pollution and harm to human health, and this method is easy to operate, with accurate and reliable experimental results, suitable for quantitative analysis of polyester fiber and polyethylene fiber blended products.
