Research on the Quantitative Analysis of Mixtures of Certain Protein Fibers with Flax,Ramie and Hemp
This article uses sodium hypochlorite solution as a dissolution reagent to quantitatively analyze animal hair fibers, mulberry silk and blended products of flax, ramie, and hemp. After shaking and dissolving in a 20℃water bath for 40 minutes, certain protein fibers are dissolved and removed from the mixture with known dry mass. The residue is then washed, dried, and weighed to calculate the mass percentage content of each component fiber.Under these conditions, the quality correction coefficient d values of insoluble fibers such as flax, ramie, and hemp were explored, and this method was used to verify the mixture samples with known ratios. The experimental results showed good repeatability and precision, meeting the requirements of fiber quantitative detection. The results indicate that the method is simple to operate, accurate and reliable in experimental results, and suitable for quantitative analysis of mixtures of flax, ramie, hemp, and certain protein fibers.
