Monitoring and Analysis of Hepatitis B Surface Antigen among Entry-exit Personnel at Wuhan Port during 2019 to 2023
To understand the hepatitis B virus infection situation of entry-exit personnel at Wuhan port and offer scientific foundation for the surveillance and prevention of infectious diseases.Hepatitis B surface Antigen(HBsAg)of entry-exit personnel at Wuhan port during 2019 to 2023 is monitored and analyzed in this research. From 2019 to 2023,a total of 99235 monitored were screened for HBsAg at Wuhan port,3664 were identified with the presence of HBsAg,resulting in a positive rate of 3.69 percent.Specifically, the positive rates for exit-personnel and entry-personnel were 4.10 percent and 1.93 percent, respectively. The HBsAg positive rate was higher in exit-personnel than that in entry-personnel.The positive rate is higher for males than for females among both entry-exit personnel and exit personnel.Compared to the group of<32 years old,the group of≥32 years old showed higher positive rate. The highest positive rates in exit-personnel and entry-personnel were labour abroad and foreign marriage, respectively. We ought to continuously implement health education on hepatitis B prevention knowledge, improve screening techniques, and provide to reseeding vaccination or revaccination of hepatitis B vaccine for the specific populations.
