Uncertainty Analysis of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Vegetable Oil by GC-MS
To improve the accuracy of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)detectionin routine laboratory testing, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry was used to determine the content of 16 PAHs in vegetable oil.A mathematical model was established to ananlyze the uncertainty in the detection process. The results showed that the 16 PAHs contentsranged from 1.650 μg/kg to 2.244 μg/kg,with an uncertainty range of 0.216 to 0.463,k=2.In this study, the main factors affecting the uncertainty of PAHs are standard curve fitting, the preparation of standard solutions, and the number of measurements. To reduce uncertainty,it is recommended to increase the number of calibration points and measurement repetitions during testing.
