Starting from the application scenario requirements of root resistant waterproofing materials for planted roofs,this paper analyzes the types of coatings suitable to be used as root resistant waterproofing layers,and preliminarily proposes the basic performance,application performance and environmental performance that root resistant waterproofing coatings should have.It also proposes planting test methods for root resistant waterproofing coatings,and explains the current development ideas and directions of the industrial standard"Root resistant waterproofing coating for planted roof".
