A type of flame retardant silicone sealant with high cost-effectiveness is prepared by using α,ω-dihydroxy polydimethylsiloxane(107 adhesive)as the base polymer;magnesium hydroxide/aluminum hydroxide compound as a flame retardant;through single factor testing,40％flame retardant is determined and added;then,appropriate chain extenders is added to improve the ductility of the sealant.The elongation at break of the sealant is 404％,and the tensile strain of the I-shaped test piece reaches 110％.After 100％elongation testing,the test piece is undamaged and has an elastic recovery rate of up to 92％,and the flame retardant grade is FV-0.
