Revision Suggestions for Physical Performance Requirements of Putty Type Water Expansion Sealing Strips in GB 50208-2011
This paper analyzes the requirements for the physical properties of putty type water expansion waterstops in standard GB 50208-2011"Code for acceptance of aonstruction quality of underground waterproof",and points out its inconsistency with current relevant standards.For example,the regulation that the 7 d expansion rate ≤ 60%of the final expansion rate may result in compliant products not passing the acceptance test.On this basis,revision suggestions are proposed for the physical performance requirements of the putty type water expansion sealing strip in the acceptance code:cancel the provisions on test conditions;cancel the requirement of 21 d expansion rate as the final expansion rate;cancel the requirement of 7 d expansion rate≤60%final expansion rate;clarify the hardness testing method.
