Preparation and Performance Study on Two Component Silane Modified Polyurethane Sealant for Hollow Glasses
The effects of the content of silane modified polyurethane, catalyst, silane coupling agent and weather resistant additive on the properties of two-component silane modified polyurethane sealant for hollow glasses are studied. The results show that when the content of silane modified polyurethane in component A is 20%,the content of catalyst dibutyltin dilaurate is 0.09%,and the content of silane coupling agent KH570 is 1.5%,the tensile strength and elongation of the sealant reached their optimum, and the bonding failure to the hollow glass substrate is 100%cohesive failure. In addition, adding 2,2-dihydroxy methylbutanol and phenyl salicylate can effectively improve the weather resistance of the sealant.
