Clinical efficacy of standardized care processes in the prevention of lower extremity thrombosis in elderly patients with ischemic stroke
Objective:To examine the effect of the clinical application of a standardized nursing process for elderly patients with ischemic stroke under the conditions of prevention of deep vein thrombosis of the lower extremities.Method:A total of 68 patients were included in the study from April 2022 to April 2023.They were randomly divided into two groups of each 34 patients selected randomy. The control group received routine nursing care, while the intervention group received standardized nursing procedures, and the data of the two groups were implemented cross reference.Result:The average and peak blood flow velocities of the femoral vein in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group after nursing care, which indicated a significant difference. The incidence of deep vein thrombosis in the lower limbs of patients in the intervention group(0.00%)was lower than that in the control group(17.65%)with P<0.05.Conclusion:Standardized nursing procedures for elderly patients with ischemic stroke have significant effects, which could effectively improve venous blood flow velocity, enhance coagulation function, and reduce the incidence of deep vein thrombosis in the lower limbs.
