A Comparative Study(2022)Of Institutional Repositories in Our Country
In order to improve the development level of institutional knowledge base construction in China,reduce the development gap of institutional knowledge base between Chinese mainland,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,and promote the collaborative development of institutional knowledge base(IR)between mainland and Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan,this study is based on Open DOAR,an internationally authoritative directory of open access knowledge base.By establishing visibility,recognition,SEO(target layer),Grasp the scale of domestic IR website,display degree,the number of external links,WIF,link efficiency,MozRank,Followed Linking Root Domains(criterion layer)related data and build Analytical Hierarchy Process)model assigns weight to indicators and obtains the ranking of network influence of IR websites.At the same time,based on the ranking of influence,the author compares and analyzes the development of institutional knowledge base in Mainland China,Taiwan,Hong Kong and Macao in recent 7 years,and finds out the existing problems in the development of institutional knowledge base.The results showed that the development speed and quality of IR in Hong Kong and Macao were better than those in Taiwan and the mainland.The development of IR in Taiwan was gradually separated by that in Hong Kong and Macao,while the overall development of the mainland was slower and the quality was not high.It is suggested to carry out IR construction in an organized way,strengthen coordination and linkage,continuously optimize and improve search engine strategy,open exchange and share knowledge.
