Granite is widely distributed in Guidong County,accounting for 57.77%of the total area of the county,the engineering properties of granite weathering crust are special,the surface soil has good water permeability,soil softens easily when exposed to water,the shear strength of rock and soil rapidly decreases,Therefore granite areas in Guidong County are prone to geological disasters.Based on the investigation,statistics and analysis of landslide in granite area of Guidong County,the characteristics and formation conditions of granite regolith landslide in Guidong County are revealed,it provides scientific basis for disaster prevention and reduction and human engineering construction in this area.
