This study aims to address the disconnection between practical teaching and industrial reality, using colorimetry in the dyeing and finishing field as a case study. We employ virtual simulation technology to tackle the key challenges in experimental course teaching and establish a color simulation system to provide an open platform for students to design experimental courses. This blended approach, combining both virtual simulation and hands-on training, successfully builds a bridge between practical experimental teaching and industrial reality. The results reveal that this approach has increased the achievement level of course objectives to 0.87,significantly enhancing the students'mastery of theoretical knowledge.
